“ Amazing food and service we always enjoy the chopped salad and the pork chops and fresh fish ”
“ Meeting friends for dinner and conversation. Our friends have dined at Tuscany iL many times and recommended it highly. The place was packed on a Saturday night and they honored our reservation (NICE). Our server came by almost immediately to bring the bread basket and complimentary bruschetta. The bread was warm and fresh. The bruschetta was delish. I started the meal by sharing a chopped grilled vegetable salad ($18.50). It was OK but disappointing. For my entree I ordered the mushroom shrimp risotto ($32). Also OK but disappointing. My wife got rigatoni with filet mignon meatballs ($28). That dish was outstanding!!! The most impressive aspect to the restaurant was the personal attention by the manager and the owner, both of whom came by to make sure everything was going well. They made us feel like we were eating in their dining room rather than a busy restaurant. That was in addition to the service which was excellent throughout the meal. ”
“ Perfect every time! Great pasta and fish dishes. Wonderful service. Our go to regularly! ”
“ I've been to Tuscany multiple times, especially when we stay at Hyatt Westlake across the street for a staycation. Each time is always a nice time, but tonight especially, it was a great time for a multitude of reasons. Food: For our entrees, our group ordered Pappardelle with Chicken Bolognese and Vegetable Ragout, Pennette Rigate alla "Puttanesca", and Fresh Seafood Casserole "Cioppino Style." Everyone finished their food, and I only had leftovers because I wanted to eat more when I got home. Ambiance: From the moment I entered and throughout our dinner, it just felt cozy and as if we were in Italy. And last but not least, service: Everyone that was there, beginning with the sweet hostess, just made it an incredible experience. Our server, Lane, made this night even more special than other nights I've had here - and that's saying a lot. He was attentive, sweet, funny, and everything was genuine. If there were more people like him in this world, it would be a better place. Thank you Lane! ”
“ It has been probably close to 20 years since I was last year and we were looking for an Italian restaurant in the area so decided to give it a try. My lovely companions shared a Caesar salad and I had one all for myself. We all thought it was excellent and the amount of dressing was just right. A special note of thanks to the waiter who had the croutons removed from one of the shared silence since she had ordered her entrée gluten-free. That was a very nice touch. Onto the entrées! My companions each had the same entrée, which was the seafood pasta cooked in parchment bag. Special note that they remove the bag before you eat the pasta so don't get excited that you are expected to eat a bag. I had the papperdelle chicken Ragu pasta. I really like those types of noodles and I don't think I've had them before. I am more of a thick noodle guy like linguine so this was very good. The chicken was excellent and a little lighter than beef so I really enjoyed it. It came out very hot. I like. For dessert, we went a little wild we got three different items, bread, pudding, chocolate, lava cake with ice cream, and chocolate cake. All were excellent, although it was noted that we have had better bread pudding elsewhere, but it was still very good. The bread was great and nice that they didn't charge us for it and I can't believe I'm actually saying that. The service was very good and if you read my reviews, you know that keeping my water glass filled is one of my benchmarks for measuring service and I never noticed it empty. There are lots and lots and lots of great Italian restaurants all over the area so we probably won't be back anytime soon, but I could see us going back here sometime in the future. ”
“ The search is OVER. I have now found my FAVORITE Italian restaurant, and I'm overjoyed to say that it will now wash away any memory of that (recent) awful experience at Osteria La Buca. Ironically, we have dined at Rustico several times (Tuscany's sister restaurant a few miles north), and we enjoyed that quite a bit, but we had never tried Tuscany. My daughter dined here a number of times and loved it, so for my husband's further birthday celebration, we tried Tuscany this time. Everything about this place was perfection. The restaurant, while appearing to be on the smallish side, is deceptively large with a number of different attractively decorated dining rooms, along with a bar and outdoor dining if weather permits. The wait staff (there were THREE assigned to our table at all times) was incredibly attentive, and we not only wanted for nothing, but we didn't have to ask for anything, either. They remained in the background but kept a watchful eye over their table to anticipate whatever our needs were. That hasn't been the case at most restaurants. Not even Rustico is THAT attentive! I was super impressed with this, but it just gets better! The obvious main focus is on Tuscany's food preparation, and I'm happy to report that it was outstanding on every level. We dined on the following items: Tableside Bread in a basket - every piece brushed with butter or olive oil (not sure), but it tastes buttery, yet it's not greasy at all. Some pieces even had tomato chunks on it. The bread is warm and delicious, and they'll bring more when they see the empty basket ! Florentine "Gnudi" with burnt butter and crispy sage - Ricotta and spinach dumplings served over tomato sauce and topped with Parmigiano-sage gratin. We got the appetizer size... just enough for us to have two each. Outstanding... with so many flavors dancing on my tongue. When I talk about food having flavor, THIS is what I'm talking about !! Delicious !! Heirloom Tomato Salad with Creamy Burrata Cheese and Aged Modena Balsamic Vinegar - my daughter had this and raved about it. I did not try it. Chopped Italian Antipasto Salad - finely chopped iceberg and romaine lettuces, tomato, provolone cheese, garbanzo beans, pepperoncini, sweet red onion tossed in a light balsamic vinaigrette. I had this, and while I would have preferred a bit more vinaigrette, it still was enough to flavor the salad, and it was fresh and delicious. Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction, caramelized apple, pomegranate, pine nuts, cranberries and toasted seeds - I didn't want to try this. Not my kind of dish, but my husband ordered it. Fresh King Salmon Fillet in Crispy Potato Pancake - Served with seasonal vegetables, lobster, and roasted garlic sauce. My daughter ordered this and thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried this dish, and the salmon was perfectly prepared. Lovely vegetables. Fresh Seafood Casserole "Mare Nostrum" - colossal shrimp, lobster, king crab legs, salmon, mussels, clams, calamari, and scallops - Cioppino style. My husband ordered this and loved it. Wild Caught Hawaiian Ono Fillet Pan-Seared in chardonnay-chervil sauce, scalloped potatoes, spinach, and asparagus. I ordered this, and I had never tried Hawaiian Ono before. While it tasted delicious, I was not a fan of the fish texture. It was strange, but that's the fish and just a personal preference. I definitely loved the spinach and asparagus.... both were beautifully seasoned and texturally perfect. The star of this show was the scalloped potatoes. The BEST I've ever had, and I would have preferred more of them, as the serving size was on the smallish side. Sicilian Cannoli - made with whipped ricotta, orange and lemon zest, cinnamon and honey in a flaky shell. There were two cannoli, and my daughter and I had one each. It was, BY FAR, THE BEST cannoli I have ever eaten, and I'm quite sorry I shared with my daughter, and at that, I let my husband have a bite of mine. The shell was so light and flaky like none I've ever tasted, and the ricotta filling had such a wonderful orange flavor throughout. I'm still dreaming about this because it was a magnificent end to a fabulous meal. (By the way, they have a dessert tray that they bring to each table. One is hard-pressed to refrain from ordering because ALL their desserts look amazing.) Tiramisu - our waiter knew it was my husband's birthday, so he brought him a slice of tiramisu with a candle in it. That was so nice of him. Tiramisu is mostly whipped cream, not my favorite dessert, but this was nicely prepared. It wasn't too heavy. This is definitely the best in a long line of Italian restaurants.... restaurants period, and it's definitely a "special occasion" kind of place. In fact, we already made a reservation for our wedding anniversary next month... and I have a milestone birthday coming up, as well, lol. Let's see what we plan for that. Anyway, try this place. You won't be sorry !! It's THAT good. ”
“ Our first time here and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. With reservations late on a Friday night, they sat us in a very romantic spot and had our table ready and waiting. The atmosphere reminds us of our trip to Italy last year and both the food and the service absolutely measure up! We loved the Chianti, the crab cakes, the short rib ravioli, the pumpkin ravioli and the decadent lemon berry tart. ”
“ This was the experience that I was waiting for. I attended a Christmas Dinner here a couple weeks ago and was blessed. Going to share a few things that I experience here at this location. We all know that first impressions are important. As I entered, I was greeted with a hello and welcome with a genuine smile. We where all seated, there was about 10 in our party. Our server came over and introduced himself to us all. (Ryan) One of our guests asked the server what he would recommend and I was amazed the Knowledge this server had. He was able to tell all of us about 10 different dishes, how they where made and including the ingredients. Knowledge is priceless. Great job in developing your servers. Service is the key to your Great Success as a Restaurant owner. The food!!!!!!!!!!!. All the guests where delighted and very happy with there dishes. I ordered the baked Salmon with fresh vegetables. Cooked to perfection. During our dinner a man came over and asked how our dinner was. Not knowing at the time, that this was the owner.Tonmasso. Ciao,a presto. To the back of the house to the front of the house you all did a fantastic job in accommodating your customers. One goal in mind Service!!!! Great Job. Grazie. ”
“ Tuscany never fails to disappoint. The service is spectacular. I asked for an iced oat milk cappuccino-- and they said that they didn't usually carry oat milk but would check. The server comes back to let me know that they sent someone to the STORE to go buy oat milk for me! What?? That's next level hospitality right there. We ordered the appetizer portion of the crab cakes - they came with 3 and since we were two people the server asked if we wanted a 4th. We opted not to. The crab cake was spot on- crisp exterior, great crunch and flavor, the dollop of creamy sauce had a kick to it that was just the right foil for the creamy texture of the inside of the crab cake. The slaw it was served with was delicious if just a little underdressed. The seafood with roasted veg was a beautiful plate of food and just the right amount for me. I just wished it was a bit better seasoned. The fish needed just a hint more salt. Each piece of fish was perfectly cooked. The chimichurri type sauce was delicious with each bite of fish. The vegetables were well grilled- still had a bite to it. But not raw. Flawless service, delicious food and great company. It was a perfect meal. ”
